no video display with Xpress Pro help! urgent!

Just upgraded to XPress Pro 5.5 and the video doesnt play on the monitor as soon as I press play. There is a still image, I can scrub through it, but image disappears at playing. There is audio, plus video out over firewire to client monitor, but no video on the computer monitor.
My Pentium 4, 3,2 GHz PC had no problem with DV Express 4.8.
Could it be the graphics card? It's a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB DDR.
I also work with DVCPro 50 now instead of MiniDV as with DVExpress.
Or can it be an Avid setting (I set everything?? to DV50), in that way I managed to get video out over firerwire - via the HVX and S-Video to a client monitor.
Any clues out there? Help urgently needed as deadline is coming up!

Yes, it could be the graphics card. Avid only support Nvidia.

If you see a flashing bar on one side of the video when you press play, make your Avid working window a little bigger. It won't play if something is covering up the window, or there's not room for it to display.

Thanx a lot. To close this thread: it was the graphics adapter. I installed a Nvidia FX500 and everything's fine.
