New Avid studio -- best deal ever?

    I downloaded the Avid Studio trial, it is a home product with nice features. Editing is pretty fast, but render is something I didn't get correctly: sometimes what I have in timeline is not showing as result. I'm not 100% sure, but looks like there are some render/update bugs.
    Some nice effects included (these pre-built effects, title motion, but I couldn't find the Mlooks in the trial.
    I don't think I could use it in a commercial project, but for my family AVCHD videos can be an option. DVD authoring, etc.

      Magic Bullet Looks is watered down (no fly-out options on the right, you have to use one of the presets). I think Looks is more for grading, not color correction. Support seems iffy. I was pawned off between companies while trying to fix a commonly known export bug. The registration codes on my box no longer worked for download fixes. Finally gave up (renting after effects for the moment).
