At NAB I noticed the new HPX170 was slated to sport a 5 year warrantee. According to the Panasonic reps in attendance this is due to the entirely tapeless aspect of the new camera. I asked about whether there were any plans to allow extending the warrantee on existing HVX200 cameras, and lo and behold! there is now an offering which did not previously exist.

Here is some information about our extended Warranty for our P2 products. As you can see to extend the warranty for one year is $700.00, for 2 years is $1400.00 and for 3 years is $2500.00. If you want me to make a contract for you showing what it would cost for your cameras please give me a call and we can talk about it. Thanks.
