Hey everybody. Yeah it was a lot of fun working on the short. We called in a lot of favors from people in the industry here in Montreal, so if we had to do a budget, I think somewhere around $15,000.00. Its was great, we got to use all the big toys, cranes, jibs etc. Yeah that prop was made from kinos. The director, D.J Matrundola, sent the short out to some festivals, not sure which ones. The entire movie is only 13 minutes, maybe i'll post the whole thing, with permission of course. I've also finished a new prototype mattebox for the 16:9 lens, snap-on 2 stage, but there is no rotating stage. I'll post pics on my site soon, later.
Ok, so it has been a long time since I have seen this film. I was a DOP on this many years ago. Shot on the original DVX100 with the anamorphic adapter. Wait, I have said that already? I came across a DVD with this film on it so I thought I would do a little tweaking on the colour and add just two effects shots. It still holds up pretty good. Enjoy.
