The DVX is very nice. I made my very first student film on one. haha it makes me laugh and smile to think about that little camera. We shot it using this shoulder brace:

Spec-Comm is a DVXuser sponser and has always had great service: http://www.spec-comm.com/store/
I know they were running a special on the HMC150 awhile ago...
Not sure if they're offering the free shipping, but I'll bet they'd match B&H

Thanks ctb1010. It looks a lot like the 100 series so learning curve is negligible. B&H has a good price on it along with free shipping. Any other vendor suggestions?

I'd go to a GH2. I sold my DVX100b over a year ago and got a GH1. Everyone in my shooting group has moved to DSLRs for the quality and control we get. I love DSLR shooting, but that's a personal preference I suppose since I do know a few people who hate using them

Upgrading to HD camera
I'm a happy user of my Panasonic DVX100A but customers are requesting more and more HD. What do forum members recommend in the 100A budget line of cameras? I would also like to move my workflow to memory cards and away from tape. Thanks for considering my request.Tags: None
