help I forgot to white balance

Actually I thought I did, but I have some very blue tinted shots. How do I change the color temperature in Final Cut Pro 7? BTW I posted this in the editing forum too, but I shot on the AF-100. Thanks

Use any of the color wheels or if you have something like film convert you can easily adjust the color temp that way. Film convert does an amazing job of fixing white balance issues.

There is a white click in FCP7 if I remember.

You could also correct before or after edit with Davinci at no cost.

          +1

3 wheel color corrector found within FCP7 oughta do it.

To add to this, with the three way color wheels, you move the wheels to the color opposite what you're trying to fix. In this case, away from blue.

You can always use the Levels to correct the white balance:
I DO IT BECAUSE I CAN. I CAN BECAUSE I WANT TO. I WANT TO BECAUSE YOU SAID I COULDN'T.

This is one why one favorite features in Premiere is the new Lumetri tools - the simple ability to fix white balance via a slider.

In FCP7 it's a matter of using the 3-way colour correcter and finding the right balance with the 3 wheels - start off by setting your white point with the eye dropper and then go from there.

A quick tip is to go in the opposite direction of the color that is being corrected. If the image is blue then in the 3 way push the color towards yellow. Go slow and see the image change. Takes practice.
