    1. Global shutter

I see the rolling shutter as soon as I move the camera or zoom..
Its funny that this most important thing to mimic film is barely mentioned.

The uncaring audience cant see higher DR, higher res or 12 bit 4:4:4 but they can see skew and jello.

      #1 Better dynamic range
      #2 120 fps
      #3 ISO Dial

I love this camera and so do my students! I can't wait to see what Panasonic comes up with in the next model.

        1 - More Dynamic Range (13+ stops)
        2 - 10-bit 422 HD-SDI output
3 - Anything but P2 - ProRes or DnxHD to SSDs would be my choice, but with a clean HD-SDI out, I don't really care about the codec... I am over P2 and other propriety media though, so am fine the cheapest recording media available to keep costs down; I dont have a problem in the least with AVCHD to SDHC cards again as long as I get a really nice image out of the HD-SDI that I can record. Since I got my Samurai and have been shooting straight to ProRes on SSDs I have loved the workflow and have not looked back; I now only use the internal media to trigger recording and have as a backup.

          1. Higher DR
          2. 1:1 focus punch in
          3. Higher bit-rate/10bit recording, but not too high (50-75mb is fine for me as long as the DR and 10bit are there.)

I like SD media though, redundant recording would be nice too.

                3 Top Technical Improvements:

                1. Better Highlight Handling
                2. 10 Bit 4:2:2 from HD-SDI
                3. Upgraded sensor (DR, Banding)

3 Top Camera Features (Not in relation to Sensor or Recording Format)

                1. ISO Wheel Toggle
                2. 1:1 Focus Assist
                3. A Decent Fast Video Zoom Lens (Not technically a camera feature, but related)

If an AF200 had all (or even most) of these things I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. Til then I'll keep on using and loving my AF100.

                  Assuming it's a MFT camera

                  1. 10bit 4.2.2 codec with LOG option recorded internal to card.
                  2. Reinforced lens mount that can hold cine lenses without support. Around 5 to 6lbs.
                  3. DR over 12 stops. Go as high as possible.

-. Full sensor record mode: if it's going to be 4:3, make it so that we can use most of the entire square sensor for anamorphic or whatever we deem fit.
+1 The key is to fully leverage the micro 4/3 format. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but having shot 35mm film for years... m4/3 just feels right... for many of us it serves a very important niche.

I must confess, I'm happy with my AF100. When I grow up I'm gonna be An AF100 or marry one!
But if I were to pick three things...

1.HPX250 minus lens and minus P2 - perfect color match for Cam A & B usage specifically 422 10bit AVC BEST-TRA whatever that is - Ultra, Intra.
                        2. Super Slo Mo - 120Fps +
                        3. Same price.

rather than spend $3-4K on some heavy zoom that might damage my AF, I'd rather buy an HPX250 and use that, inasmuch as it matched color and quality wise with the AF.

I know I'm reaching here, but an anamorphic mode with monitor unsqueeze and guides would be a killer addition.
