        I sort of hope they do - I'd like cameras of this ilk to take over the filmmaking society. Canon DSLR's would be fantastic for consumer amateur home videos.

          The AF100 with lens may be beyond the price point for some Canon shooters.

            DSLR's and cameras like the AF100 are going to coexist for many years...AF-100 $6000 vs 550D $899.00 I don't think pros that use DSLR's are going away anytime soon....with that said I still love my hvx200.
