Ok, I'm at a loss. I'm back to FCP vs. Sony hell.
My editor sends me final cuts of an 11min film in "mpeg2" format. I load the video and ac3 files into a folder, bring it all up into Architect and burn a DVD. When I view the final DVD the audio sync is off slightly and gets worse as the movie goes.
I go back to Architect and see the video file is now an m2v, huh. So I try inserting it into a new project and when Architect goes to render, BAM error with mpeg file. I read a few threads on other forums and found you need to rename the file to mpeg. I do this and it burns a DVD but with the same audio sync problem.
The further I read on google the more similar issues I find, yet none exactly the same.
Does anyone have a fix for this?? I can't be the only person to have run into this. I know there are many inherent problems with going back and forth with FCP and Sony products but I really need to solve this one quickly and as painlessly as possible.
Thanks!!
