I changed language patch. May be it'll help with missing Chinese characters.
Try other languages also.

Someone reply that patch still have problem in missing Chinese characters.

Is it possible to downgrade the firmware?
Because not much people have GH1, and they are afraid that firmware version too high to use offical firmware in future.

And we have more GF1 users.
Maybe a GF1 language patch can make the test faster.

I can't do anything with this. Try other unknown language.
Are you sure that GH1 have official Chinese interface?
As it can be that fonts simply do not have some parts.

I don't see any problems to post here result of language names.
And we don't have "language problem" :-)

GH1 has official Chinese interface?
Missing characters can only mean that fonts do not have corresponding parts.
So any strange ideas about some tables won't help.

Because Chinese GH1 is very expensive in Hong Kong,Taiwan.
even the Panasonic local department just import a few GH1.
And most people have never seen Chinese GH1 in store.

why not getting the 24p out of a 48i?

from what i read and as i understand it, that's how the chipset seems to process the frames. why would u want to change the nature of the beast if at the end you can get a proper 24p that way? (and again been able to play the vid on cam).

2) Check if interface is now normal.
3) You can later use patch in other areas.

Sensor provide native 24p.
And people here ask for native 24p.
So, here is the answer.
Player anyway can only play 50fps and 60fps content.

but maybe it can be an option. i may be wrong, but i understand the sensor always shoot progressive frames anyway, the frame seems to be splitted in 2 interlaced frame afterward to get processed by the processor(s)
at the end it's 24p

To be short - you are wrong here.

One note

We may drop GH1 v1.22 support soon as all patches are now ported.
If you are still using v1.21 or early version because of battery, it is time to update to patched v1.32 also.

The region code for Simplified (Communist or Mainland) Chinese is GK, for Traditional it is GT.
Thinking about it a bit more, perhaps the letter K stands for Kommunist?

I am so happy to have another product for which some intelligent geeks are producing a firmaware hack... love my CHDK-improved Canon point-and-shoot, love my Rockbox-improved MP3-Players (and kept buing new ones on the criteria that they can be rockboxed)... will love my hacked GF1!

To be short - you are wrong here.

No actually he isn't. Wrapping progressive frames in interlaced format has been done with PAL for a long time. It doesn't have to be native - the benefit comes from not having to do a complicated pulldown, and that's only relevant for 24p wrapped in 60i which uses 3:2. 25p in 50i can be dropped straight on an NLE timeline without pulldown. So 24p in 48i etc. is worth trying because the camera might also be able to play it back.
