Spent a weekend with the LUMIX G Leica DG Summilux 15mm f/1.7 ASPH on the GH4. What a lovely lens. Sharp, with wonderful color rendition, compact and light, although that makes it a bit more of a challenge to hand hold. Suitable for both photography and video, the lens displays minimal spatial distortion.
Physical adjustment is super smooth with a manual 1/3 stopped aperture ring that can also be set to auto on Panasonic bodies. Manual focus is by wire but the focus ring also has a really nice weight to it.
Footage was shot hand held, stabilized in post and in places severely cropped and zoomed. Natural setting (all flat) in UHD and down scaled to 1080p for output.
