GH2: Grand Canyon North Rim (GX 12-35 f2.8)

First project with the Lumix GX 12-35 f2.8 lens. Was the only lens used, and none other was needed or desired.

I used this lens before it is amazing. Also love your video, excellent location, great colors and just really a nice piece overall. I would present this to travel agency companies and get work off of this if you haven't already.... Nice!

        Thanks for looking Chris.

This is a fine lens. However, for 90% of this project the Lumix 14-140 or 14-45 are just as well constructed and produce comparable images. I'm also skeptical of a lens that extends while zooming being truly weather sealed. Several clips in the project were EX mode.

Interesting Dan,so for me who mainly films in reasonable light my current lenses will be ok, and i have the 20 and 14mm pancakes if necessary.Cheers Chris

Absolutely. I'm a big fan of the 14mm f2.5 for a small, wide angle, low-light setup. Also, if the GH3 ISO specs are correct, fast lenses will be much less an issue.

I haven't been to the North Rim in years. After watching your video, I've made reservations for early October. Thank you for the reminder.

                  @ Dan Carter

Can you tell me which was the exact polarizer you used for this?
                  Thanks

                    J.F.R.,

That would have been the B+W Circular Polarizer.
