I was thinking a better way of going forward would be a new gh with some improvements to the gh3. peeking and user defined in camera raw processing. shadow and highlight recovery from the higher dr raw data, levels and gamma, and curves. 8 bit 4:2:0 or 4:1:1 output. $1.4k. then put the processing for all the really new 4k bells and whistles we are hearing rumours about in the external battery holder grip for another bunch of dollars. the external battery holder has got to be mostly empty space anyway.

From the rumors that are surfacing now, it sounds like this is going to be a $3K camera that will be an addition to the GHx line-up, and won't replace the GH3.
Everything is speculative at the moment, so likely we won't know the exact details of this potential camera until next year.
