Canon 1DC vs Canon 5d Mark IV

Hi all,

I have been after some advice for a while.

I currently have a Canon c500 which I love and was looking at a b can.

The options are

Canon 1DC
Or the 5d Mark IV

I was swaying to the MarkIv for the auto focus on the gimbal as this would be handy.

But the 1DC looks so much nicer image wise.

Does anyone use these or have experience with these two.

I'd wait until we see how well the clog on the 5d iv turns out, which we should be seeing sometime this month. I'd probably go for the 5d iv, though, as a b-camera, assuming they don't botch clog. Autofocus, lightweight for gimbal work, FOV simliar to C500, a better stills camera for everything besides sports. The 1DC has a surprisingly good 1080p S35 mode, though, which I probably use more than the 4k mode.
