1DC- 4K mode, LiveView and AutoFocus

With my 5D2, in LiveView mode, there are 3 different autofocus options, Quick, LiveView and Portrait LiveView.

With my 1DC, I can't seem to enable any autofocus options. Is this because of CanonLog?

Read the manual, you can't autofocus/take stills in Canon Log/4K mode (S35 as well I think)

All auto function including AF , exposure mode, ISO etc will be disable in canon log mode,

very un user friendly. also when you switch off canon log you need to reset all setting back manually, else all will stay in manual

much better to stay out off canon log if you need to shoot in a hurry, or in journalism type work
