best Canon adapter for Zeiss ZF (Nikon F-Mount) prime lenses???

I have 3 Zeiss ZF (Nikon F-Mount) prime lenses (35mm, 50mm, 85mm), and I need to get a lens adapter to fit them onto my Canon 1DC. Can anyone recommend a good Nikon F-mount to Canon adapter?

Nope that's the wrong canon mount. Even if it was the right mount you don't need an adapter with aperture control as the lenses have their own aperture ring.

I've been using the cinevate and I'm not 100% happy. There is a little movement. Not sure if that's just to be expected.

Gives the feel of an original mount. No play. Rock solid. And you can even add a chip for EXIF data and focus confirm (useful for still cameras).

Well... my Red Rock adapters arrived just half an hour ago. And unless I am missing something then STAY away from them! When I saw them advertised I assumed that they would work just as the Leitax ones do. That you would take out the lens screws and replace them with longer ones once the adapter is in place. I mean that makes sense... But no... Redrock thinks it's okay to just screw into the rear of your lens and damage it. Three of the four screws are meant to simply tighten onto the rear of the lens mount and they don't lock into anything but simply start to dig into the rear lens mount itself. Sure the damage is minimal in the scheme of things but even the fact it doesn't lock into anything seems kind of odd. Only one of the screws is placed so that it wont damage the lens- it's meant to screw into the "locking pin notch". And that one seems to not work with ZF lenses because the "locking pin notch" is deeper than it is on Nikon lenses.

I've sent Redrock an email so I'll see how that goes. It's possible I have made a mistake but I don't know how. Another complaint I have is the instructions from Redrock. Really terrible.


Leitax looks great and seems to be what I thought I was getting from Redrock.

Here's a picture of the damage one screw did when only lightly screwed in. In the instructions it say "secure the three secondary set screws fully (D) and loosen them a 1/4 turn to prevent unnecessary stress on your lens." If by "stress" they mean "damage" I understand. But surely you want these screws to all be nice and snug to distribute the stresses.

This will teach me to recommend something I have not tested. It just never crossed my mind that there would be this kind of issue.
