Burn - Rune Glifberg, Dany Hamard, Hugo Maillard... SHOT ON 5D/ MASTER PRIMES.

    Hey ya,

My first post here, but just wanted to share you guys a Skate film ( SHOT ON 5D WITH MASTER PRIMES) I directed - skaters : Rune Glifberg, Dany Hamard, Hugo Maillard and Jonas Skroder - We had lots of fun making it. We shot it in Buenos aires, it is basically a commercial for the Burn drink, - but still we did it for love of skating/film making....

Hope you dig it.. Here the link to the to the film..

Are you sure it's 5D with Arri Zeiss Master Primes?
Master primes are for super 35mm cinema camera and can't cover full frame sensor, you mean modified 7D with PL mount I suppose?

Master Primes from 35mm up cover 5D I think.

And it looks like the guy that posted is the director, so.

Yeah that's what I'm asking, Master Primes are designed for Super 35mm sensor, I don't think they cover full frame 35mm, and I don't know anywhere that does 5D PL mod.

5D PL Mount is possible though, http://www.hotrodcameras.com/?product=5d-pl-deluxe-kit

This was shot with Panavision Primo's. You can see them in some of the set pictures. Same techniques Shane hurlbut used for Act Of Valor, before he was stopped from using the Primo's due to some legal wrangling i think regarding the adapter by Panavision

Rich Lee (dvxuser and all round awesome music vid director) shot Slash and Fergie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X85UUDhZaCw with PL mounted 5d. The Lens Broke the mirror at some point he said. i'm guessing if that happened though his wasn't gutted and converted but prob a screw on type adapter.

Wow that really was epic! Were the effects done in AE? Especially the windy leaves? Again very inspiring.
