High ISO beauty clips Canon 5D mark III

    Hi guys,
thought some of you might be interested to check out this test, shot in candle light from ISO 100
all the way up to 25.6K- totally ungraded and unsharpened with 100% screen grabs

    cheers,

    very nice, thanks

the canon skin tones seem way too magenta, more so as you increase ISO
I would consider increasing the Tone parameter (my current recommendation for Flaat is Tone=1)
the risk is that if you overdo it then skin tones go green, which is even uglier

Hey Mike, I’ve been doing my own low light tests, the MKIII native ISOs are cleaner just like the MKII. 8000 ISO is particularly bad and noisier than 12800.

hey Samuel, dunno, on 25.6 yes, but on my calibrated monitor they are just red-ish not magenta, pretty easy to change/grade in post, and agree, prefer that to a green hue, will try your suggestion
