This is a video shot a few weeks ago, one of the better bands to come out of Portland, IMHO.

80's band W.A.S.P. and Metal Church former members, in W.A.S. (Where Angels Suffer). They played mainly W.A.S.P. songs, this one is an original, Cardiac Arrest. This one was shot on ten cameras, january, 2011.

Glad to see you're bringing us some videos with that great mixed sound. The mixture of formats gives it a really visceral look. I'd love to see some gopro's thrown in there to get some POV or drum cam angles. Out of curiosity, why did you make the A-cam an HV30 with it's limited color space/dynamic range (not that it really matters)? Regardless, good stuff.

I use it wherever i think it might fit best, but hv30 quality drops when the lights go, sometimes venues don't have a lot of light.. Gopros are a great idea, might have to try that, which version have you used?

If I'm not mistaken they're all the same resolution and codec in the HD flavor with various mounting options aside from the hero 960. They work really well. I've heard rave reviews from news usage through rally teams.

A new one, this one is from Rex & the Rockits, a band that has a ton of great music. It just happens that they live near me, and i got to shoot the band a few weeks ago. Here's one from the show..

Warpigs, the ultimate Black Sabbath tribute

Warpigs is a longtime Portland-based Sabbath tribute which filled all the local clubs for years, here, they reunite and play in Portland for the first time in quite awhile.

                            AC/DC tribute Thunderstruck

The Warpigs show was fantastic, Sabbath tribute Warpigs headlining with Motorhead and AC/DC tributes Ace of Spades and Thunderstruck opening. We shot all three bands that night, here's one from Thunderstruck..
