    You know what? Until then here's some of J.D's old entries. They're all on his vimeo page (link at bottom post) but here's a couple anyways.

    A Little Mouth to Feed (scenes from). 12 years ago:

    I wouldn't mind seeing a thread with all of the top three winners from the past contests.

    I''ll have a copy of the DVD within a few weeks but I'll need permission from the entry submitters before I can share any of them, if they're interested. I'll let you know when I know more.
    //He's working on it. It'll get here. He's old too lol. He's really busy ya know or not. I just got his PM. It'll be here.

    //Update April 13 2021:
    Sorry. I just got this message "...I found more boxes of DVD's but no Horror fest..weird !". Sorry about that. It must be cursed. We tried. Maybe it'll turn up someday unexpectedly (it has to be there somewhere, maybe in the wrong case).

    //If anyone has the dvd we like to hear from you.

    The Good ol days. - http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/forumdispl...ZombieFest-II&
    I made alot of life-long friends here over those years.
    It must still be for sale if a mod can post a link to buy the DVD. That'd be cool. Good times.

    //If I dare say a number of folks that I've talked to recently have all agreed, not in a bad way mind you, in a dissapointing way, that the dvx crowd has moved away from film-making, truth be told. That's been my feed-back.
    I'd love to see it come back to focus on film making again with writers & sound designers getting into it and so forth: Good times back then.
    But then, yes I understand, the resolution of vids back then was 720p.(actually was it 480p I think? haha Oh my.) Nowadays it is more CPU intensive. ;)

    hehehe. Whoot. That's what I'm talking about.

    //Off topic a bit but how about doing a fest for indie bands that don't have any videos yet? How? Use your imagination.Maybe have them submit ones to create for and ... -Crazy thought.

    It was not "pulled" nor for "legal" reasons. It was simply removed by the entrant after the dvxfest was over so that it could then run in other fests also. I apologize for any confusion.
    That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.

    Holy smokes it's been a while. I don't think Texas Fortune is online anywhere, I'd have to search through some old hard drives.
