The $300 Recorder Question, or, "Which cheap audio recorder should I get?"
Yup, we're back. This time, the answer isn't nearly as simple, but the question has been posted almost daily in recent weeks. The reason this isn't as easy to answer as the $500 Wireless Question is that the market is much more saturated with different makes and models in a competitive range of price and performance. Like everything else in this industry, however, you do get what you pay for. Buy right, and buy once. ... -

The $500 Wireless Question, or, "What cheap system should I get?"
As this is asked on a daily basis, if not more often, here's the answer to the golden question: Audio falls as an afterthought so often, and after a $1000+ investment in a camera, lenses, batteries, etc., people want to know how little they can spend on audio gear. Difference between APS-C Camera models (7D vs T2i vs 60D vs T3i)
In this thread, I hope to explore the differences between the current cameras covered in this section (Canon APS-C). This should help people who are having trouble deciding on a model, or simply want to know what the differences are. Please feel free to comment with any corrections/suggestions/changes, so we can keep this current. Thanks!

Remember, these are only the Canon APS-C sized cameras, and I intend to compare their features in regards to video (not photography, where I am aware there are additional differences as well, such as autofocus points). The 5D has its own section since it is a full frame camera, and the 1D isn't used much in prosumer video (mostly cost prohibitive compared to a full sized video cam- the 1Dx is a monster for video, but at a projected price of $7k for the body), so I will not be including those models here. -
