The Red Team:

Jim Jannard: Madman
All of us have the perfect camera in our minds. Some of us have even gone so far as written long letters to camera manufactures pleading for specific improvements. Jim Jannard, the founder of Oakley, decided to take his list one step forward... He put his money where his mouth is and embarked on a mission to produce what most people may just call "the perfect camera".
Jim has been Playing with cameras for longer than alot of us have been alive. He has arguably one of the worlds largest personal camera collections ranging from DV cameras all the way up to Arriflex 535s. He has personally shot almost all of the Oakley Print ads for years, and definitely knows his way around cameras. |

Ted Schilowitz: Leader of the Rebellion:
Ted has been with AJA for the last 5 years, and helped mould the HD workflow from the ground up. He helped design the very first HD capture cards for the MAC, and fostered the growth for man HD-centric companies. Ted also is on the advisory Board for the Digital Cinema Society. He was the CEO of HDTV solutions and laid the groundwork for the first HDTV advertising agency in the United States. Bottom line.. Ted knows HD. Ted knows HD very well. |
Stuart English:
Most of us know Stuart as the father of the DVX. At Panasonic, as VP of product marketing ( A title that only touches his roles in product development ) he helped create the 24p camera that would turn the industry upside down, the DVX100. Before leaving Panasonic, he structured the release of the P2 format and workflow. Stuart is very good at igniting revolutions; hence he is a perfect fit for his new home on the RED team.
Graeme Nattress:
Graeme has been programming computers since 1981 (the same year Pacman was Introduced). In the last 25 years his incredible insight into how Video works has led him to become known as the Codec Guru, Nattress Productions, Graeme's company, is one of the leading suppliers of FCP plugins. His involvement with RED guarantees a smooth post production workflow for the future of RED and the RED codec.
Frederick Haubrich:
Frederick Is one intelligent man. So intelligent, that he was the Chief information officer for 'Hooked on Phonics'. Most of us however know him for founding LumiereHD, One of the most powerful (and affordable) solutions for editing HDV on Final Cut PRO. Frederick will bring his knowledge to the table by connecting the RED Codec to the NLE.
