Spent some hours today modelling this:
It's my Squier Stratocaster with some lousy textures: ![]() ![]() What do you think?

hey thats good work!
The only tip I would say is make the texture of wood smaller, because at the moment it looks like if the object is very small. two thumps up! |

Its looking even better, but now its got that "repeating tile" effect that is common result of using tiling textures over a large area, what you need to do is add some "Chaos" and randomness to beak up that "tiled" effect.
Try this free software: http://www.textureshaker.com/ It can create massive natural looking textures from even a single small texture. Enjoy |

If i can add some constructive criticism, the upper horn of the body is a bit different from the real thing.

Miniman...Goin back to scale for a sec, I would suggest adding some elements to the shot to give reference to the guitars size. Maybe lean it against an amp, or put it on a guitar stand?
