I agree. I wonder what lenses would fit. The Red 300mm F2.8 shown on www.red.com looks like a Canon L series lens painted black. B4 lenses will fit. The Canon XL videocam can take 35mm lenses. I wonder if owners of the Canon XL can take their lens off it and put it on the Red. (Sorry to talk about Canon on here, and not talk about DVX). What lenses do you own? I own a Canon GL1. The lens doesn't come off that one. I wonder why Red is not initally offering a zoom lens. That makes me scratch my head. How many people want 300mm? And it is such a big lens too. I want something compact, light weight, and inexpensive.
