Default Renderman for Maya

Well, I just installed the evaulation version of Renderman for Maya last night and I'm impressed thusfar. Haven't got a chance to really dig deep into it, but it's pretty fast, much faster than mental ray, and isn't that complicated to figure out. I haven't really messed around too much with the material attributes, but I browsed through the list of choices and its chock full of all kinds of neat things.

I'll put up some test renders this weekend. Anybody else use this or maybe have some links to some info on tutorials, or even better some good Renderman shaders. I tried using a Renderman metal shader that came with the install, but couldn't get it to render and the help at Pixar's site isn't that developed.

Cool. I've been meaning to download it and try it out. Post some of your renderings ASAP. Would love to see them.
