Default 3d software for mac

Hi all, any recommendation for 3d software for mac.

btw maya and cinema 4d ? which is better ?
or is there any other recommendation .

I personally use Maya, but Cinema 4D is a popular alternative. A lof of people use it because it's learning curve is not as steep as Maya's. It really all depends on what you want to do...if you're trying to get into the industry, then Maya, otherwise, whatever you see fit.

not a huge difference, but... it's $2000 for complete and $7000 for unlimited.

lightwave and the others come in closer to $1000, if i'm not mistaken.

if you are a starter, you should try a cheaper and easier than Maya, or C4D

Maya is something beyond my bugdet right now.
any software that you will recommend that is within a range of 1k us.
or less than sgd 1.5k. Cinema 4D is quite close to what i am looking.
just a bit sad, that the distributor in singapore are not as helpful.
