ok guys and gals,

let me do some honest promotion here and let you know whats up with these. what can i say.. Im a DYI guy thats busted my butt building a couple lets just say "less than professional" dollys in my day. I learned the hard way that its not something you want to have skimped on when the shot counts and all eyes are on you and your footage. I didnt want to drop the cash on a brand name doorway dolly that costs more than my car, but i also didnt want to build another blue light special thing that i couldnt versatilely use with confidence.

..so i after much ..and i do mean very "much" ado , I created these. and worked with DVXUser.com to make them available here for others to get a headstart on stepping up their production game. so if you want a nice cinema dolly setup the first time.. thats multi-person rideable, strong and stabile, ultra low profile, super quiet, very smooth, professional in operation and appearance, and easy to build... these are for you. theres no skimping here. just quality you can rely on. with a nice platform they make a mean looking dolly that you'll be comfortable and even proud taking on a pro set or shoot, and will last a very long time assuring you quiet and smooth shots time after time. all the hard work is done for you with laser precision.. just put them on a nice looking platform and your set, and can start being confident about incorporating smooth dolly camera motion in your shots, and looking proffesional doing it.

each sale of Rowe Cine products here at DVXUser also helps support DVXUser.
Now lets make some movies!

heres a FAQ for people considering the Rowe Cine dolly products:

thanks serious,

..plans for curved track? ..well yes, but not really... i mean there in the works, but im not rushed on them for release. overall, i dont think many indy people will use curved track sets. theres really not much money made in these kit sales for whats involved in putting them together. most goes to materials and shiping ect.. , and few enough indy productions have found the production blessings of using even a straght track pro dolly to begin with yet. so while you an i think they might be great to have around. i think theyd see the shelf more than the track for now. if indy producers step up to the plate with some pro straight track cinema dolly wheels, and if theres demand.. the curved track sets will be made available as well.

Hi. Cool product--I want some! I already asked this in another one of your threads, but I don't remember which one. Is it possible to order different-colored wheels instead of the off-white? Maybe, yellow, red, black or gray? Thanks.

well, yes.. it is possible, but the issues are

#1 i dont get discount volume pricing for buying 1 set in a differnt color.
#2 i havent tested the other wheels for consistancy or performance
#3 to my knowledge, the same wheel dimensions and specs are not available in other colors.

.. and while these may be seemingly small issues. its important to me that theres a high level of quality control that goes into the product. the standard wheels were chosen for all their inherant qualities. minus color.. i just went with the color available to get he wheels that orked the best. however. if youd really like a set in a certain color of wheel aside from the stock color. we can talk and see what we can come up with. I would let you know the cons if any of whats available in the wheels available in the color of choice. I would still have you do a regular order though DVXUser here. and if there was any additional charge pending cost of wheels, i assume it would likley be a very small amount like 10.-15.00 which would be made in a seperate transaction to the same account that handles the regular orders for cost difference on the wheel set and special ordering the wheels.

let me know if you wnat me to research out a set for you and what color youd like..

Thanks. I think yellow would look cool (with a black dolly). Red would also be cool. Basic black always works too. Let me know. I think if I had a choice--yellow. But black is totally fine too.
