11-29-2009: So yesterday was day 1 of pre production. I have worked out the budget and also started on a previs of the film. This helps me tremendously during production. The tool I’m using was Movie Storm (moviestorm.co.uk) and it’s the BEST tool there is. My plan is to create a pre-vis version for the entire film and I’ll show the crew and cast once they’re signed on.
Today, I had a talk with a friend of mine, also a great DP who I had worked with on several projects in the past. He has agreed to sign on and help to shoot the film and I also agreed to help to make his. (He also has one film to make for the fest, its working title is The Stopoff, so stay tune for updates on that).
Okay, I am on scene 6 of the script for the previs, I should be done with the rest of 4 scenes tomorrow. Then I’d possibly post some screenshots here…

11-30-2009 So I completed the storyboard for the film. I went as far as creating an animated version of the entire film. I created it with a vision in mind although some of them might not end up in the final film due to some possible technical issues but it kinda gives me some ideas of what angle and shot I'd like to have during production. I have rendered a scene as sample to share with everyone:

12-02-2009 Okay, shooting scheduled for Jan 15 & Jan 16. More details soon.

12-19-2009 Principles Casting Completed. Extras will be lined up with more details for the shoot.

01-09-2010 Photoshoot and First Rehearsal.

01-10-2010 Second rehearsal.

01-15-2010 First day of shooting.

01-17-2010 Second day of shooting.

01-28-2010 Due to the length restriction of this fest, we'll have a dvx cut separate to submit here and a cut for the whole film.

01-31-2010 Locked the cut and sent it to our composer and post audio designer

02-19-2010 Finalized the cut with final score and sound design
