Just doing this as sort of a solo project. I've been wanting to do a movie for kids, and this will be my first attempt. Should be a short little film, just around a minute.
I've got most of the characters and objects cut and ready to go. Already tracked the audio as well. I'm going to New York today, and when I get back on Tuesday I should be able to finish everything else fairly quickly. That includes shooting all the images, editing it, and writing and recording the music. Should be fun! |

Hey, Jason. Whaddya' goin' to NY to do? This sounds like a worth-while project. I hope to do something for the kiddies one day as well, so good luck.

Just to see a crapload of shows with my wife and mother-in-law.
Hope this actually is appealing to kids, it's hard to know what kids will like when you aren't one anymore... |

Love the title. On the title alone I want to see thing one.
I just talked to an 8 year old the other day that loves Saw and the Hostel films. I guess kids just aren't kids anymore LOL! Best of luck on your entry :-)

Hi Jason,
Nice to see you back here. A film for children!? Where is the inspiration come from? Are you going to be a daddy - now after the wedding? I am still remembering your lovely film 'The five worst .........' - so I am looking very much forward to this little project .Susanne |

Sweet! Really looking forward to what you do. Can you put a little more on the thread about your process?

I just wanted to try an animated kids movie to try something completely different - really stretch out of my comfort zone. I also like the freedom of children's films. You're not as held back by reality and logic. |
