Just doing this as sort of a solo project. I've been wanting to do a movie for kids, and this will be my first attempt. Should be a short little film, just around a minute.

I've got most of the characters and objects cut and ready to go. Already tracked the audio as well. I'm going to New York today, and when I get back on Tuesday I should be able to finish everything else fairly quickly. That includes shooting all the images, editing it, and writing and recording the music. Should be fun!

Hey, Jason. Whaddya' goin' to NY to do? This sounds like a worth-while project. I hope to do something for the kiddies one day as well, so good luck.

Just to see a crapload of shows with my wife and mother-in-law.

Hope this actually is appealing to kids, it's hard to know what kids will like when you aren't one anymore...

Love the title. On the title alone I want to see thing one.
I just talked to an 8 year old the other day that loves Saw
and the Hostel films. I guess kids just aren't kids anymore LOL!

Best of luck on your entry :-)

Hi Jason,

Nice to see you back here. A film for children!? Where is the inspiration come from? Are you going to be a daddy - now after the wedding?

I am still remembering your lovely film 'The five worst .........' - so I am looking very much forward to this little project .

Susanne

Sweet! Really looking forward to what you do. Can you put a little more on the thread about your process?

Thanks for stopping by Susanne! No, no babies on the way, thank goodness. We're definitely not ready yet...

I just wanted to try an animated kids movie to try something completely different - really stretch out of my comfort zone. I also like the freedom of children's films. You're not as held back by reality and logic.
