Hello,
Well we finished our final cut of the film last night. This was a 48 hour shoot and edit project, with a bit of extra polishing over the last week. I'm happy with the results and all feedback has been positive so far. Oh, and I got to use my new DIY dolly too!!!

That actor was creepy dude. He was spot on in the role. Good flick.

Lol that guy on some angles looks like Robert Deniro. Even in mannerism.
Good job. Interesting story.

I thought you did a great job with the tone and atmosphere in this film. It was consistent throughout.
The actor was very good. There was something not quite right with his character and gave a certain tension to all of the scenes which was good. Well done. |

Thanks for the positive feedback... I'm really excited about making more film... this was really my first "serious" film, and considering we made it, start to finish in less than two days, I couldn't be happier.
I've been watching the other films, and I'll make coments once I've gotten thru them all (about half way now), but I'm very impressed with everyone, and I think I'm inspired to get a 35mm adaper or a d90...

I must admit, this film was a very eerily pleasurable viewing. I felt a little trepidatious as I learned more about the man, but I genuinely wanted to know more about him. The performance got a little stiff and somewhat forced at times, but I feel that through the majority of the film, he really nailed the part.
And I must say, the direction was very strong throughout. I liked the way the film moved and the types of relationships to the outside world that were set up. The colors were very much on par for a film of this nature, and I really enjoyed many shots. The texture of the view from outside looking in as the dog is going for the "big jump" was very pleasing. The music was subtle and not abrasive. I'm still a little confused as to WHY he would be drawing in chalk on his desk. I understand it in the context of the film, but him simply being a bit of a paranoid schizophrenic or having some mental disorder seems to be pushing it a little. It's a plot device, but it certainly works out in the end. Anyway, really interesting film!

I loved your goofy/creepy lead. He was awesome. He reminds me of Michael Rooker. Kinda like if the principle from Back to the Future were a child molester.
