That's a pretty fast system you already have there, I'd suggest upgrading your OS to a 64 Bit system, and then increasing your RAM to 4-6Gb.

I think the limits your hitting are limits in Vegas. It seems no matter how powerful my machine, once I start adding layers and efx, it dogs down.
More and more, even though I like Vegas for cutting, I find it not so great for compositing, cc, etc. Partly because it dogs down so badly. |
