Standing Firm is a new Christian feature from Praise Pictures. Production is scheduled for this summer. Be sure to check this thread often to keep up with the pre-production, production, and post-production updates.

SYNOPSIS:
STANDING FIRM is a story of forgiveness and finding peace in times of suffering. Dave, a widower, is working himself to death. Late nights doing paperwork and running on fumes is the norm. Dave's son Steven, the only remaining Christian of the family has been watching his fathers now unhealthy lifestyle with great concern unsure of what to do next. Soon God moves on Steven's heart to stop complaining about his fathers situation and help him instead. As Dave begins to move in the right direction, he searches for the ultimate question about his wife's death.....WHY?

Who will relate to this film?....that's a good question:

1) Anyone who has EVER lost someone they love (friend, family, etc.)
2) Anyone who has EVER had trouble witnessing to close friends.
3) Anyone who has been in a family/marriage with differing relgious views.
4) Anyone who has never found peace in times of suffering.
5) Anyone who has had trouble making a God driven decision.

and much more!...there is so much more to this film than just a heartwarming story. It places a message right where people live and confronts them with issues all too famailar among Christians and Non-Christian alike. How will STANDING FIRM impact you? You'll just have to wait and see....

UPDATE:

1400 visits to the site since launch, thanks everyone.

I added an area of the site to Sign-Up for updates. You can add your email to our list to recieve periodical updates on our production, our website, and everything in between. Also instructions on how to audition we're added.
