Default A-Data Card Failures

I recently suffered a corrupt A-Data 32gb turbo series card after it's third use (losing a clients footage in the process).

Just wondering how prevalent this is.

Not certain what to say except to buy a different brand.

I used mine about 3 or 4 times for longer events. 5th time died.

ADATA are going to try and recover the data and replace the card. Hopefully the replacement will have no problem, but I will be Leary of using the replacement for anything important, that's for sure.

Is it a "turbo" series? If so what is the part# (on the back in small print)?

That's the same part number as mine. I wonder if that means it's the same batch or not?

I just wouldn't trust that card if you are doing someone's wedding etc.

my problem is that I needed it fast and I couldn't buy anyone but that overnight....
If not I would have gone with another brand...

SanDisk 8gb Class 6 "VideoHD" card never offered me an ounce of grief. For my GH1, it has worked flawlessly, And still does, as i format the son of a bitch almost daily. ...for example.
