Hi All

Im just about to make purchase of HMC152(PAL version)

They are asking me if Id like to purchase a MACK warranty,

does anyone have any tips on this please cost is $185US for 4 years

do you think its worth it or, if it stuffs up just take it and get it fixed.

camera comes with no warranty as Im purchasing from Singapore.

i wud get the warrenty. I had a warrenty (not mack) on my dvx which saved my butt about $US1000 the other day when it had to be repair. at $US185 for 4 years i think its more than worth it....especially if you are in a place that doesnt specialize in servicing your camera.

mmmm I know Pana is pretty reputable but I wouldnt mind some sort of warranty but because Im in Aust and buying from Singa the Singa 12month warranty is void they only offer the international mack

but Ill take your advice just to be on the safe side.....youd think with the price of the camera and the brand it would be flawless or at least come out with a free international warranty for a year....

Why not buy locally? Buy from an authorised Dealer for full local support and a 3 year warranty. I'm sure if you talk to the Bris Dealers, you have 4 to choose from, they'll do you a deal similar to an unauthorised Grey dealer.
