Vixia HV 40 = Only tapes?
I was looking for the specifications for this camera at the canon website and was surprised that it only accepts mini-dv ou HDV tapes for recording.
Is that right? No cards or HDD? |

unfortunately, recording to tape will be conforming the HDV standard which will be 1440x1080. If you can capture directly through HDMI to your computer directly, you can get full HD 1920x1080. That you will need a blackmagic capture card.
