Default Product similar to Z-Finder

I saw awhile back on a thread, which I cannot find, a guy who was selling a product similar to the Z-Finder, but included baseplate/rods and a psudeo follow focus. Anybody have any info on this product? Thanks Jeff

Looks more like a hoodman than the Zacuto.

Call me old fashion, but I wouldn't pay $200 for that unless it was tools-free.

That actually is a Hoodman. I saw that company a Photo Plus at the Javits center. They basically use a Standard Hoodman and mount it on their plate. I took a look at some of their stuff and IMO it was pretty cheap feeling. Their follow focus was pretty nice, but not worth the money. You're better off getting the fake zacuto stuff off ebay. I got mine recently and that stuff is made extremely well. Just as nice as the real Zacuto stuff. Except for the padded parts like grips and shoulder pad, but you could mount the Zacuto stuff to the bootleg rods.

check out this thread for many of the options for the korean rig with some other ideas.

http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=185419

here are the rigs i use. I have two dslr rigs. Both were economical. I would think getting one of these rigs and mounting an indifocus and a zfinder could be done for the cost of many of the Zacutor smaller rigs.
