First let me say that I have never been one into forums and whatnot, until this site. Its ever so very helpful. I have been on hear for a hour and love it. Moving on
Just a general question.
I wanted toexport using MPEG2 in FCP 4, and when I had chosen it a warning window came p saying that the sequence need to be rendered before it can be encoded. Having checked any rendering situations (All Timeline was steel, but I rendered it all anyways, and it already was) and the window still came up. Anyone know what is going on?

Hi Michael
Did you go into sequence/Render All...and click on 'Both' (making sure all the little coloured markers are ticked) ?

Don't know why that's happening, but I use Compressor to do my mpeg2 exports and it works great. Maybe give that a try. Just go to File>Export>Using Compressor.
It's really easy to learn how to use and works wonderfully.
