You can't buy a dvx100a new, so that would be used.

I'm about to pick one up for 2k.

I just won mine off ebay for 1950, came yesterday. Only 180hrs. I cant find anyting wrong with it, all the functions work, and its cosmetically new.

what do you guys think about buying from an ebay power seller for around $2100-2200 (not a private seller but a company who mass sells them)

Personally, I try to avoid that kind of ebay seller. However, I have no rational reason for doing so. I just feel more comfortable with individuals, or with companies that have a more permanent feel to them.

Ive seen them go for as little as 1300, but you must realize that your camera may already have 500 or more operation hours already. At 100 its time to replace heads and the whole 9 yards. Sooooo dont expect anything good for under 1500. ( I know it sucks) Just hope and pray that if you do find one for less that its in good working conditions internally.
