Barry one last question. I have FCP Studio 2 with the new Color program. I have not started to work with the app. yet, but if I understand you correctly, I could get a A1 and get the colors attributes that I like with that camera? If that is the case, that would be a great savings to my production.

Just received my shiny new XH-A1 from B&H. $3299, USD, with the rebate form, $250, in the box. Best price I could find from a reputable source. Received USA product as ordered in the estimated ship time. Nice rig, I love it!

Even the semi-reputable crooklyn places couldn't beat this price.

The best deal i have found was B&H. very reputable. But I went to EVS in LA and asked them to match the price and they did. Also, very little sales tax if you tell EVS you are a production professional. They also have a website. Good guys. I paid 3300, minus rebate.

I also did the B&H deal. No tax and $43.00 shipping. Come out to about $3100 after the rebate.

Nice camcorder, but the Sony XDCAM EX is on a whole other level, albeit at twice the price. This cam is causing a worldwide stir.

Amazon.com of all places has them for $3,299, plus you get the rebate (if you buy today. Though it's likely that the rebate will continue, or just be permanent soon enough.)

    rebate has been continued.
    JR.com $3273.00 plus $40 for overnight*. - rebate 250
really got the shipping free because the finance dept screwed up
and didn't ok the shipment same day. So I got it in two days for $3273. then rebate

Amazon has been out of stock for a week and a half.

BHphoto is now up to $3400.00 and no rebate. Anybody find anything recently? I just sold my HVX and am ready for another XHA1.
