Hello,
I'm new here but found a site with an offer which is maybe a bit too nice... what do you guys say?
http://www.bharea.com/proddetail.php?prod=1C389534873
Price: $ 2,645.45
1,952.53 EUR
And if it is correct (which I actually think it is not), is it also available in PAL?

Best price I've found is same as yours. At B&H. Very reputable place, with a live, walk-in store, which is always a good sign to me. They ship free, and no sales tax outside of NY. Rebates honored.

I just ordered my A1 yesterday at 3,349,95 and today it just dropped the price too $3,299.95. Booo! Anybody know the reason for the price drop? Now im getting nervous that they will come out with an A2 or something new soon.
Also, what do you all think about a warranty? Have any of you had any issues with the camera through wear and tear?

I bought mine from Samy's Camera. $3500 - $250 with the rebate. I got the rebate back in about a month. $3500 before rebate seems to be the going legitimate price right now. Be warned, as is was stated, if you find a deal too good to be true - it probobly isn't.

Hello All,
I am new to this site as a member, but I read the comments of the members all the time and find you all to be very knowledgeable. I am in the market for a camera. I'm torn between the HVX200 and the A1.
Price is a concern of mine, but not the primary one. The HVX200 seems to be the most popular camera used by indy. filmmakers and all of the footage that I've seen is clear and full of color. All of the A! footage seems flat. Is it possible to get the same level of color saturation with the A!? Is it done in post? Does anyone have any footage that shows richer color?
I need help...

The A1 in-camera cannot approach how saturated you can get an HVX in-camera. The A1, at maximum color saturation, about matches an HVX when the HVX is in its middle position.
In post you can boost the color all you want.
