    Great overview Barry. We'll have two of these on our new reality series this fall. I'm most excited about the U/I on this camera. It is as if someone at the Panasonic design and engineering desk was listening to almost every observation on the HVX200 made here in this forum.

    The versatility of the 500 promises, with one device, to open up many more possibilities for those of us who need both 1080 and 720 2/3" solutions for our clients.

    What are the pros of this over the SI, or Red? The price isnt all that different, so why the HPX500?
