Update: 6 March 2007

So as of this afternoon, we've locked 7 April as the beginning of location shooting for Spies Girls: The America Tour.

So far, we've managed to involve some pretty amazing on-screen talent on this one. Two key players attached today. No contracts signed yet, but the negotiation on filming dates was "interesting". Big talent. Their "people" wanting to talk to "my people". You get the idea. But it'll be worth it. These actors have chops.

Chatting with the music guru today. I gave him some suggestions on his arrangement. For some reason the telephone line died at that point, so I never got his thoughts. But he's obviously working really hard on it because he's not even answering his phone! Cool, huh?

Will be starting the casting process tonight or tomorrow. Looking forward to it. I will be selling tickets to the auditions if anyone is interested. $29.99. VISA and Mastercard accepted. Associate Producer credit granted for an additional $19.95. Any takers? Ralph?

All that accomplished despite recovering from the Promised cast party last night. Promised was this other short I did ... well ... never mind. My problem is that I'm kinda just now recalling that at various points in the evening I may have offered the same part in Spies Girls to three different actresses. I sense a rewrite in my near future slightly expanding the cast ...
