    WATCH

random idea that came to me at 3am.

    wrote in 1 night

    shot in 2 days.

    Letus Flip 35

    two friends as actors

and I think I should seriously consider doing ADR.

just replaced these screenshots with actual ones from the final movie - cropped the letterbox for display.

yeah, they are even darker. But I think it'll work better when just watching the movie(also, it looks better after web compression)

I used 1k DP lowel from out the window in (where window is shown). and bounced a pro-light off a white bounce next to the actors. all CBT'd. I realized how great the 1k works for daylight. When shooting for the girls side, I pointed the 1k to her back and bounce silver back on the wall behind her. and it gave it some depth, but just reviewing the movie over and over, I realized that the lights were not consistent. Just small disappointments here and there- overall it's a simple story with a simple dialogue sequence- I didn't want to die over it.

Interesting poster. I like that. Nice play of the negative space.

I'm not sure if the mood of the poster would go along with the shortfilm itself, but looking into the characters motives lead me to this drawing.

it's quickly hand drawn on photoshop. done in minutes really. glad you guys like it.

thanks people. I tried to enter horror film fest and one of my actors caught the Flu- cant be angry- still trying to recover from that incident because i had everything going.

So this little drama will be a testament of splurging and just having fun shooting without stress.

I like those colors; how did you do it: in camera, in post-production, or both?

both. I began warmer in-camera then adjusted as needed in post. It's really grainy because i re-brightened those on photoshop as I was cropping it to show it here.

I really like the lighting and the colors but the grain just kills it IMO.

    Great poster.
