need to crop and move subject at the same time (chroma key)

Hi I have just got some proper chroma key fabric and some professional lighting, however it is not quite wide enough for me to be in it and the whole shot covered in the fabric. Because of this, the edges have to be out of shot and I have to crop the sides. so far so good. however bear with me and I'll try to explain

To crop it, I have to go to 'pan & crop', and under the bit that says 'stretch to fill output frame size', I select no. then I resize the box so that whatever is inside the box shows up and everything outside doesn't. ok so now I've cropped out the bit of shot where there is no chroma fabric, I need to resize the video (because it is suppposed to be someone shrinking). To resize the video usually I would have 'YES' selected under 'stretch to fill frame size', however if I go to do that, as soon as I press yes it goes back to how it was.

can someone please tell me how I can crop the video AND re position/size it at the same time. thanks I would be so grateful if you could do that.

if you look below you will understand what I'm trying to crop. once I've cropped the non chroma key bit, I can't move it or I lose the position of the crop if you know what I mean.

Use track motion. You can resize the whole track that way.

Go into Help (F1) and look up both Track Motion and Keyframing.

I've spoken with a few "editors" about a project I'm working on relative to Chromakey. I ewanted to film my newscaster in fornt of a properly lit greenscreen, then drop in the Newsroom BG.

They cringe when I ask them to do it...which is why I'm going to edit myself...BUT, will footage with the 100A work well in the chromakey environment?

    Thanks.

I've done quite a bit of greenscreen work with DVX footage. Shoot progressive and light well.
