Hey Guys,
I thought i'd post this because i've had a lot of PM's about it.
How to get sweet video quality for Youtube/Flash:
Here are some short clips of mine so u can see what i'm on about, If you can already get nice clear flash video's then there's probably no point reading ahead...

...ok so these r the settings:
I use sorenson squeeze with the .flv setting of 1mbps, The codec to be used is "Sorenson Spark Pro" 1-Pass CBR, Frame size is 320 x 240
Thats pretty much it guys, I hope this helps

For the mac users i found this in another thread in the Output /Compression forum i have yet to try it but i thought i would post it here.
640x480 MP4 @ 700 kbps
128 for audio
I think the audio rate could be lower depending on your content and needs for audio quality.

I just encoded a clip at the settings i mentioned above and it looked terrible in quicktime. i didnt even bother trying to upload to youtube but i would think their compression would make it even worse . time for more experimenting.

Yeah... I've tried a few similar to your recommendations with inadequate results, to say the least.
