    I've noticed when I import or capture footage that has been shot on dv the image seems to be smaller then hd footage when I export I think I'll have the same problem if something was shot on dv what settings should I use?

    This is because SD has a smaller image area than HD.

    SD shot on digibeta is 720x486. HD can be either 1280x720 (720p) or 1920x1080 (1080i). So yes, the image will be smaller.

    Exporting how? Settings for what?
