Here's my new preset based on demand for more vivid colors.

I used Panalook as my starting reference and built up from there. The colors are much more intense than Panalook and may appeal to those looking for more of a punch. I haven't had time to do a spreadsheet on this so I'm sorry for those who need that.

I'm including a quick still out the window of my office using this preset in slightly diffused sunlight and also the CPF preset itself. I'm calling it VIVIDRGB.

I have waited and waited for a sunny day here in Seattle but with no luck so the example below is not ideal, the sky was pretty bright and I didn't have a graduated ND filter at hand. If I had, you could see how intense the blue is.

I have not tested this for noise or sharpness and in all lighting conditions so tweak it as you like.

You can download the preset here: http://www.pinelakefilms.com/vividrgb.html

Here's the settings for VIVIDRGB in an Excel spreadsheet for those who can't access the CPF file:

    http://www.pinelakefilms.com/XHA1/vividrgb.xls

    (right click and "save as")

Gents, you need to "right click the link and save as".... I put that in there deliberately because you can't load the page directly.

disjecta, please excuse me, i had JUSt bumped my head and probably knocked my senses slightly to the left.. and you know about the left... that side is no good...

    *EDIT*
actually, i did that and now hwen i open it it opens your page with the sorry, this page has been removed, within excel.

i can't figure out how to import this CPF file to work. I imported it onto my card, put it back in the camera, went o customep resets, and the card - > camera option is blacked out so i cant like... offload to camera..

For some reason if you follow the first link above, and then save as, It will give you an html file. The correct CPF code is there, but it's an html file. If you shoot over to Steve's post at DVinfo you can download the CPF file.http://dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=81071&page=4
I just renamed the file PRESET01 and dropped it on the card. From there you can transfer it to the camera or just run it from the card.

i did that, but it wont see the file now. The only file on the card is this file, and i import it, go to custome preset, third option is blacked out.

This is what i get when i open the spreadsheet.

i right click on the link you provide, Save as, it saves as an excel file, and this is what it opens.

I tried using the preset file, putting it on the card, placed it back into the camera, but as i stated, it wont read it off the card for some reason. In the custom presets > Then there are three options, the presets, setting the presets from camera to card, and setting the card presets to the camera. That third option is blacked out.
