VID LED or VARIZOOM LED

I'm about to get an on camera light for my DVX100B. I mostly shoot run and gun. Id love to hear from others who own the lights.

What are your thoughts?

I have the brightest one they have I think it's the coolLed. I don't have the Dvx adapter but i'm going to get one.

I have the Vidled Cool LED light as well and like using it as well. One thing I have been having issues with is that sometimes it seems like the light is casting out a blueish beam that when you play the video back almost looks like you didn't white balance! So I am wondering if I am using the wrong the gel on the light. I also notice that if you shoot some things with the light on, but want to shoot some other things without the light, you need to RE-WHITE BALANCE because your footage will be ORANGE if you don't.

I used it yesterday on my BETACAM SX in the mall on Black Friday. I properly white balanced the camera but some of my shots still came out with this blue tint to them. I was using a 1/2 CTO clear gel. Maybe I needed to use the blueish or orange gel.

Has anyone else noticed this with the VidLed lights?
