yeah, youTube is a bad setting for this flick...when it was shown on the "big screen" in a dark theatre, it made sense....and watching a DVD at home in a dark room gets you the same effect.

Those young girls who were supposed to be cops cant handle a gun properly. It seemed very charlie's angels like. I think utube is a horrible medium as well.

If cinematography wasn't infinite, I'm sure I would have found the end by now.

Anyways, I heard that you used a 35mm adapter on your short. If so, what kind?

Our DP Ramon Boutviseth does have a 35mm but it actually wasn't used on the short...it would have added a great look but the lighting called for in the script was too low for using the 35...the vast majority of PCP was shot on the DVX100 a couple shots of actors William Jensen and Scott Perri in the van were shot on the HVX, both with the stock lenses.
We begin photography on a feature length PCP December 10th in Wilmington finishing up around the first of the year...if you're interested come out to set one day...send me a message and we'll set it up.

Enjoyed your film, good work I love noir

    Thanks
    Trey

Glad you liked the one we did. I'd love to come out one day, I just need to see if I am free when you are shooting.

Anyways, was the scene with Greg Frucci smoking the cigarette shot on the HVX? I think that was one of the best looking scenes in your film, and it is very hard to believe that that part was on a dvx.
