LOL, yeah I figured there'd be some of you out there VERY pleased to see her in another film again. In fact, you get to see her at least TWICE in this fest, because she's also the lead in Ryan Walter's (235 Studios) SEMELE.

Thanks for the props on the banner, folks. I was actually questioning how cool it looked, because there are others that REALLY stand out to me (i.e. Ryan's SEMELE), but I'm glad you're all liking it.

Speaking of 235 Studios, it's amazing that I've rec'd several PM's today asking the same thing, so I'll just go ahead & address it here, even putting it into the front page's Q&A, if I have to. A few have wondered if 235 Studios and have I have gone separate ways. Not really; just branching out.

Ryan had initially tapped me to direct SEMELE, when he first came up with the idea. He's looking to build projects under his own banner/label, which I can't blame him, and so this was a project he wanted to produce. However, as he continued to rewrite the script, his vision for it continuously became more clear, to the point that he decided he'd like to direct it himself. Since we'd not gotten too far into the process with his film, it was a perfect time for that transition.

But, with the opportunity for some healthy competition, as well as all of the afore mentioned (Warm up the TRINITY RIVER crew, test camera/lighting ideas, etc.), I decided to enter the fest separately.

Are we still friends? Yes. Will we likely work together again in the future? Absolutely. This will simply be an excellent growing experience for both of us.

Thanks, Ryan. But don't get us wrong, folks. I'm sure we both secretly hope to destroy, crush, decimate, and otherwise annihilate the other in competition, leaving them crying on the curb ... but that's what friends do, right?!

Thanks Jeremy! I actually really like yours too ... great coloring, and a blurred/unknown subject always draws some appeal as well!

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Stefan Scherperel (DVXuser member 'scharky'), and he's onboard! Looking forward to putting you up at our house that weekend, Stefan! Should be fun!
